Crotona Park Trees

This is one of the few paintings in the show not painted in Manhattan. Crotona Park in the Bronx which, incidentally, has a lot of really nice parks. The funny thing about the location of this painting is that it is actually a skinny little park in a median. But, sitting on one of the benches under the trees on a summer’s day with a canopy of green leaves over you, you don’t really notice the cars.
