Bryant Park Trees

Bryant Park – one of the most lovely and well-known of the parks in the city. This park, in fact, welcomed me to New York when I first moved here five years ago. I remember looking down 42nd street at the line of trees bending over so rhythmically. I painted this from a vantage point on the back steps of the library – until I got kicked out by a yoga class.
