Cooper Square in the Rain

Yep, this one was painted in the rain. Mostly under an umbrella. This is looking north up 3rd Ave – one of the few views in the neighborhood where I was staying where one could really see into the distance. I was especially attracted by the way the sky met the buildings in the distance to create the kind of abstract pattern you see here.
